HABIT HACK: Are You Making Active Recovery Part of Your Weekly Fitness Routine?

Are you taking active recovery days?  Are you unsure of what that really means?  Unfortunately, we've been taught to workout harder in order to maintain our bodies, when in reality we're doing more damage than good going hard every day with our workouts.  (I wrote an article on this on Health.com ) But what if you like movement of some kind (like me--I need it to focus!) then you need to make sure you're scheduling in active recovery days! Today I'll share the benefits of active recovery days, when your body and mind are signaling to take one and the benefits as women when we take active recovery days!

There are various ways you do active recovery, but my fav practice is Yoga!  I'm sharing a free Yoga flow I created when I was doing my yoga teacher training absolutely for free for you!
